Biswadeep Dhar is a third year PhD student at the University of Florida (Family, Youth & Community Sciences). His dissertation work is about socioeconomic factors and family dynamics in understanding chronic diseases in India. Along with that, he is collaborating with his mentors and committee members while working on health and financial well-being among individuals living in chronic disease conditions (a couple of them are in review). Along with that, he received a couple of teaching/professional development awards from the University of Florida. He is excited to be a first time presenter at ACCI, 2020 while he had worked with one of his committee member Dr. Michaeal Gutter (Assoc.Dean, IFAS Extension), University of Florida. He is looking forward to know and connect with people and he will be exploring post-doctoral/job opportunities in 2021. He lives with his wife who is also a doctoral researcher at the University of Florida
