Richard Stebbins started his career working in the financial planning profession at a boutique firm specializing in college professors. His clients inspired him to pursue a career in academia and he has been sharing what he has learned with students for over a decade. He has written textbooks, taught review courses for the CFP(R) exam, and is an award-winning researcher that continues to learn and better himself despite his research focus, human capital, suggesting that he is already overeducated. For Richard, the joy of learning and improving is a reward in and of itself. When he's not buried in research or teaching financial planning courses, Richard enjoys being outdoors, ninja warrioring, and teaching yoga.
